The new Songbird Flexfit disposable BTE hearing aid has been released in the USA. End users can buy the product direct from the manufacturer, from their website. People will be familiar with the Songbird name as an ITE product was launched in the UK several years ago. The new Flexfit is a one-size-fits-all behind-the-ear device for people with mild to moderate hearing loss and retails for $80. According to Songbird, the built-in battery will last up to 400 active hours of use and there are no special requirements for disposal. Simply throw it out when the battery runs out!
