Sonic Innovations donates over $35,000 to the Armed Forces Foundation
Sonic Innovations, Inc, Salt Lake City, announced the company donated $35,492 to the Armed Forces Foundation (AFF) during a check presentation with Sonic Innovations' President and COO Paul Wennerholm and AFF President and Executive Director Patricia Driscoll in Washington, D.C. The donation is the result of a program conducted by Sonic Innovations in cooperation with the AFF that began in July, in which the company pledged a donation of up to $50 to the foundation for every Velocity hearing instrument purchased through October 1, 2008. "As a U.S.-based company, Sonic Innovations is strongly committed to improving the quality of life for U.S. service men and women," said Sonic Innovations' Chairman and CEO Sam Westover. The AFF, a nonprofit organization supports active-duty and retired personnel, National Guard, Reserve components and military families during their time of greatest need. "Our armed forces personnel have given so much to this country and Sonic Innovations wanted to do something to recognize the sacrifices they have made on our behalf. Sonic Innovations is proud to make this donation to the Armed Forces Foundation," said Sam Westover.
