The Hearing Company has bought two hearing aid retail outlets in Glasgow. The company has taken over family run business Clements and Osborne, which has branches in the Jordanhill and Newton Mearns districts of the city. Greg Clements, who co-founded the business 12 years ago with his wife Val and stepson Michael Osborne, remains as practice director and hearing aid audiologist for both Glasgow stores. He said, "This is an exciting development that gives us access to the support and resources of a national, well established hearing care company, but still ensures we retain the standard of personal care and service our customers have come to expect. Both stores have been re-branded as Hearing Company centres". The deal with Clements and Osborne, completed for an undisclosed sum, increases The Hearing Company's presence in Scotland to three stores, the other being in dundee. There are 20 in total throughout the UK.
